Bridgette Anderson

Singer・Songwriter・Stage Diver

BIO

Laying R&B grooves under Jazz chords to support Pop sensibilities, Bridgette Anderson isn't merely a vocalist; she is a fierce performer with a purpose. Conscious of the stigma surrounding Pop music and the predominance of male musicians, when it comes to her original project B.A.B.E, Bridgette prefers to perform with Toronto's most sought after female multi-instrumentalists to create a new norm — prominent visibility of female musicians. Her voice has the classic seductiveness of a Las Vegas lounge singer, the raw emotional feel you’d expect from Etta James or Amy Winehouse, a tone described as a hybrid of Leona Lewis and Amel Larrieux, and vocabulary heavily influenced by the likes of Beyoncé Knowles and Christina Aguilera.

With such powerful vocals and intense, dynamic stage presence, Bridgette's passion is palpable and infectious; making you feel as good listening as she does performing. She sings in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Latin, and Polish, and has performed in Morocco, the United States, Caribbean, and South America, as well as all over Southern Ontario and the GTA. Bridgette is a Barrie native currently working as a freelance vocalist, leading bands and doing session work, and is endorsed by FSP Custom Cables.
